POI Pack for Garmin XT

In a previous post on how to get Garmin XT on your E71, I mentioned how to get the application on your E71 with Singapore maps for free. I am sure many of you already are happy navigating on your new toy. :)

One of the things you may be looking at next will be to add some POIs (Points of Interests) on your GPS system. You can find numerous user created POIs at Malsingmaps.com

However, to make it easy for you, I have created a POI pack for you to download here.

What it includes are:

1)AXS Stations
2) ERP Gantries
3) 4D/TOTO outlets
4) POSB/DBS ATMs
5) SAM Stations
6) Speed/Redlight Cameras

Just unzip the file, and copy all of the contents to your Garmin/POI directory, and you are done.

    Hi Midas,

    you mentioned in this post to copy the files into the Garmin root folder..is that correct? How does the SG map pick up the POIs? is any linking between the files needed? Pls kindly advise..

    Put under Garmin directory, POI folder. That's all.
