How to get mapsource working

How to get Garmin Mapsource working for loading GPS maps:

Download version 6.12.7 here

Once downloaded, open with Winrar.

Run main.msi

run setup.exe

Now, Garmin Mapsource should be installed without the need to have a pre-existing version on your PC.

    hi, dont seem to get it working by following the above step. did i miss out anything?

    make sure to Run main.msi 1st then run setup.exe

    should be working. I tested it.

    hi, i tried to un-rar to a folder, then run main.msi, a screen pop out, after awhile its just goes off. then i double click on setup.exe, everything goes well, but when i launch mapsource program, its give me an error "mapsource could not find any installed mapsource map product. please install one or more mapsource map products and start mapsource again.

    is there anything i miss out? thanks alot.
